Our new website is the first step in that journey. It introduces the wider H+H business and the breadth of services we offer, but it's important to recognise that the website is still being developed. Over the coming weeks and months, we'll be adding more information, developing content and functionality, and gradually bringing our existing specialist websites together under the new H+H identity.

In the meantime, our existing Harrison and Hetherington, H&H Land & Estates and H&H Insurance Brokers websites will remain available, so customers can continue to access the information and services they need in the usual way.

You'll also start to see our new branding introduced across our livestock markets, offices, signage, vehicles, communications and printed materials. This will be a gradual transition over the coming months, so you may see a mixture of our existing and new branding for a while.

While our appearance is changing, our people, relationships and commitment to our customers remain the same.

Why we're changing

For generations, H&H has been part of rural life, building relationships, supporting businesses and helping communities across the North of England and Scotland thrive.

Over that time, our business has grown and evolved. Today, our expertise extends well beyond the livestock markets for which we're perhaps best known, encompassing machinery, land and property, consultancy, insurance, environmental services and financial services. While these services have developed across different businesses and brands, they share something important: a commitment to the people, businesses and communities that make rural life what it is.

Now, we're bringing them closer together. Our ambition is to make H+H easier to understand, easier to work with and better equipped to support our customers, both today and in the future. By bringing our businesses together under one H+H identity, we can make the full breadth of our expertise more visible and accessible, helping customers discover services they might not have realised we offer.

It also creates greater opportunities for our teams to work together, share knowledge and provide more joined-up support. Whether you're buying or selling livestock, investing in machinery, managing land, protecting your business or planning for the future, we want H+H to be a trusted partner you can turn to.

This is about building on what makes H&H special, while creating a stronger, more connected business for the future.

Bringing our expertise together

Our new H+H identity brings together seven areas of expertise:

  • Livestock: Supporting livestock farmers and buyers through our network of livestock markets, specialist sales and trading services.
  • Machinery: Connecting buyers and sellers of agricultural machinery and equipment through auctions and specialist sales.
  • Land + Property: Providing expert advice on rural property, land sales, lettings and estate management.
  • Consultancy: Helping rural businesses make informed decisions, manage challenges and identify opportunities.
  • Insurance: Protecting rural businesses, individuals and their assets through specialist insurance advice and broking.
  • Environment: Supporting landowners and businesses with environmental management, natural capital and emerging opportunities.
  • Financial Services: Helping customers access financial expertise, including asset finance and wealth management.

Many of our customers already work with more than one part of H+H. By creating a more connected business, we can build on those relationships and identify new ways to support them.

What's changing, and what's staying the same?

Our new identity is about bringing our businesses together and making it easier for customers to access the full breadth of H+H expertise. You'll begin to see the evolved H+H name and identity appearing across our communications, websites, social media channels, signage, offices and livestock markets.

But while our appearance is changing, the relationships, knowledge and personal service our customers value remain at the heart of everything we do.

You'll still be dealing with the same people, receiving the same trusted advice and accessing the same services.

Our existing locations, specialist teams and customer relationships remain in place as we make this transition. Our commitment to our customers and the rural communities we serve isn't changing. If anything, we're looking to strengthen it.

Looking ahead

Our new identity is more than a change of name or logo. It's an expression of where we're heading as a business.

The rural world is changing. Our customers face new challenges, new opportunities and increasingly complex decisions. We believe that by bringing together our people, knowledge and expertise, H+H can play an even greater role in helping them navigate what comes next. Our purpose is rooted in something that has always mattered to us: Rural Matters. It's a recognition that rural businesses, people and communities matter, and that the work we do has a meaningful part to play in their future.

We're proud of our heritage, the relationships we've built and the trust our customers place in us. And we're excited about what comes next.

One H+H. Built on trust. Ready for what’s next.
